Aarhus International Sailing Center is outstanding
– that is one of the reasons why World Sailing has labelled us as “Approved Training Center”.
Facilities and Services
The Aarhus International Sailing Center offers you:
- 1,700 m2 indoor boat park with more than 12 meter clearance which means that you can take your 49er or Nacra 17 inside with full rig and sails.
- Indoor racks for iQFOiL’ers
- More than 5,000 m2 outdoor parking space for trailers, cars, auto campers and even containers
- Outdoor boat park is equipped with tie-down facilities, water and 240V power supply.
- 60 meter slip way gives you direct access to the sail area as well as mooring facilities for your coach boat
- Large changing rooms
- Gym / fitness with 24/7 access – and we even have a sauna
- Access to briefing rooms
- Accommodation – five rooms with each two bunk beds, access to bath and toilet, kitchen, wi-fi etc. for rent in shorter or longer periods.

Aarhus International Sailing Center is a city close sailing venue placed on Aarhus Ø.
The Sailing Center is within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, city center and much more.

Accommodation
Aarhus city has a large variaty of accommodation options.
Following options are the ones we recommend:
- Rooms: Book double standard bunk bed rooms inside the Sailing Center. Five rooms available.
- Autocampers/Vans: Can be parked on the site prior arrangements
- Hotels: Book hotel rooms at our hotel partner Cabinn with 15% discount code “CORSAIL23”.
- AirBnB: Book nearby private apartments.

About Us
Aarhus International Sailing Center is the base of the Danish Olympic Sailing Team and home grounds of sailing stars like Anne Marie Rindom (Olympic Gold ILCA 6), Jonas Warrer (Olympic Gold 49er), Martin Kirketerp (Olympic Gold 49er and SAIL GP), Jena Mai Hansen (Olympic Bronze 49erFX and Volvo Ocean Race), Lin Ea Cenholt (World Champion Nacra 17) and many more.
Aarhus International Sailing Center has it all: a huge indoor boat parking with free clearance untill 12 meter (Nacra 17), 5,000 sqm outdoor boat/car/trailer park, fitness, sauna, changing facilities, workshop, dormatory, cafe, offices, meeting/briefing rooms, coach boats and dinghies to rent, coaches to coach you and an outstanding view to the race courses from almost everywhere in the building.

How to get here
Aarhus is a mere 170 km from the German/Danish border and the tollfree E45 highway takes you to Aarhus from Kiel in less than 4 hours. You can also fly to Aarhus Airport (AAR) which is only 30 minutes drive from Aarhus. If you come from Scandinavia, ferries from Norway, Sweden and Finland takes you directly, or close to Aarhus.
