Home of Sailing
Aarhus International Sailing Center is the base of the Danish Olympic Sailing Team and home grounds of sailing stars like Anne Marie Rindom (Olympic Gold ILCA 6), Jonas Warrer (Olympic Gold 49er), Martin Kirketerp (Olympic Gold 49er and SAIL GP), Jena Mai Hansen (Olympic Bronze 49erFX and Volvo Ocean Race), Lin Ea Cenholt (World Champion Nacra 17) and many more.
Aarhus International Sailing Center has it all: a huge indoor boat parking with free clearance untill 12 meter (Nacra 17), 5,000 sqm outdoor boat/car/trailer park, fitness, sauna, changing facilities, workshop, dormatory, cafe, offices, meeting/briefing rooms, coach boats and dinghies to rent, coaches to coach you and an outstanding view to the race courses from almost everywhere in the building.
Aarhus International Sailing Center is staffed by skilled professionals and experienced sailors and we are all eager to make your stay with us the best training camp you’ve ever experienced.

Accommodation guide
Aarhus International Sailing Center has five rooms with each two bunk beds, access to bath and toilet, kitchen, wi-fi etc. which you can rent for shorter or longer periods.
If you need more space and a place of your own you can chose between our listed accommodation partners – please contact us for access to booking code which will grant you nice discounts.
Gym and fitness
Did you know that we have our own fitness center?! Once you have booked your stay with us, you will have 24/7 access to the gym – and we even have a sauna.
You might also want to join the Danish Olympic Sailing Team when they have organized training by the teams official fitness trainer Simon Steward.
Fleet and gear
We can help you with the rental of the following equipment:
Coach boats: RIB VSR 5,5, 50HP
Dinghies: Optimist, RS Ventura, 29er, 49er, ILCA etc.
Surf: IQ Foil, RSX, Wingfoil
Keel boat: J70, Match 28, DS 37
Race gear, marks and anchors, VHF communication etc.
Parking, slip/jetty and storage
We have more than 5,000 m2 outdoor parking space for trailers, cars, autocampers and even containers.
The outdoor boat park is equipped with tie-down facilities, water and 240V power supply.
Furthermore, we have 1,700 indoor boat park with more than 12 meter clearance which means that you can take you 49er or Nacra 17 inside with full rig and sails.
Our 60 meter slip gives you direct access to the sail area as well as mooring facilities for your coach boat.
Coaches and management
Our coaches are among the best in the world, and if you need coaching you can book individual or team coaching.
Our professional staff have extensive regatta and event experiences and can help you with most issues and concerns.

How to get here
Aarhus is a mere 170 km from the German/Danish border and the tollfree E45 highway takes you to Aarhus from Kiel in less than 4 hours. You can also fly to Aarhus Airport (AAR) which is only 30 minutes drive from Aarhus. If you come from Scandinavia, ferries from Norway, Sweden and Finland takes you directly, or close to Aarhus.
